Dr. Sarkarzadeh attended the University of Maryland as an undergraduate student and received his B.S. Degree in 1990. Dr. Sarkarzadeh then started his dental education at the University of Maryland and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1994. In 1995, Dr. Sarkarzadeh moved to Chicago and attended Loyola University Medical Center where he completed the general practice residency. Dr. Sarkarzadeh started his employment in Chicago in 1995 working for Family Dental Centers, a large group practice. In 1997, he accepted the position of becoming the Regional Dental Director for the Family Dental Centers in the sate of Illinois which consisted of 16 offices. Dr. Sarkarzadeh moved back to the Maryland area in 1998, and has been practicing in Maryland as a full-time general dentist ever since. Dr. Sarkarzadeh received an honorary award in 1994 from the Congress of Oral Implantologists. He also completed the Chicago residency on dental implants in 1998.
