Education:
Dr. Motamedi began his
post-secondary education in
1982 at Georgetown
University in Washington,
D.C., where he was a
chemistry major. He
transferred to Case Western
Reserve University in
Cleveland, Ohio, after his
third year and received his
B.S. in chemistry there in
1987.
Dr. Motamedi began and
completed his graduate
education at the Case
Western Reserve University
School of Dentistry. He
received his D.D.S. in 1989,
after which he began his
three-year periodontics
residency. After being board
certified as a periodontist,
Dr. Motamedi received a
post-graduate fellowship and
a position as clinical
instructor at the
University. During this
time, he pursued
post-graduate work at the
University and received his
M.S.D. there in 1993.
Work History:
Dr. Motamedi was chief
resident at the Department
of Periodontics at Case
Western Reserve from
1990-1992. He has been
practicing periodontics
since 1992. From 1992-1996,
he was employed in group
practice in Ohio. He has
been employed in group
practices in Maryland and
Virginia since 1997. He has
practiced at Congressional
Dental Care since 1997 and
is the Vice President of the
professional corporation.

Dr. Motamedi is currently
licensed in Maryland and
Virginia. He is a member of
the American Dental
Association, American
Academy of Periodontology,
the Virginia Association,
and the Northern Virginia
Dental Society.
