About Dr. Drennen

Dr. Christopher Drennen is a Board-Certified Periodontist who is proud to provide comprehensive periodontal care to his patients and pursue his passion for helping others. He has received a Leadership Award from the International College of Dentists in addition to many other recognitions attained while serving as class president throughout all four years of dental school at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Drennen has treated thousands of patients in his career, providing specialty care with intense focus on minimally-invasive periodontal surgery, implant surgery, and full mouth reconstruction. Dr. Drennen is certified to perform the LANAP procedure, the LAPIP procedure, and the Pinhole Surgical Technique.

After attaining his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree, Dr. Drennen pursued a post-graduate residency in Periodontology at Nova Southeastern University, College of Dental Medicine and was trained during his three-year residency in practicing comprehensive periodontal treatment, along with training in dental implant surgery. His clinical research investigated differences in clinical and histological characteristics between Nobel Biocare NobelActive and NobelReplace dental implants. Dr. Drennen is published in the April 2012 issue of Compendium of Continuing Education in Dentistry through his research with colleagues entitled, ‘A Modified Ridge Expansion Technique in the Maxilla.’ He has lectured at the Florida Association of Periodontists (FAP) meeting regarding the role of dynamic and static guided systems in dental implant surgery.

In his free time, Dr. Drennen enjoys spending time with his family, enjoying the outdoors, and playing the guitar, piano, or drums.
